I am currently a substitute teacher for the school district. I have been a substitute teacher for over 10 years. For past three years, I was a traveling nanny for a professor. I took care of her daughter while she was at meetings and events. Her child is old enough to stay home now, so she does not travel with her mom. Being a traveling nanny made me realize how much I missed taking care of infants and toddlers. Before starting a family of my own, I was a special education teacher for eight years. I worked with infants to six year olds. Over years, I have taken care of friends children while they were out of town. I have a lot of professional and personal experience with children. Over the years, I have had lots of training in all areas of children development and learning. As a mother myself, Read more I know how hard it is to find someone you can trust to take care of your child/children. Someone who will put their needs first, be positive, fun, and outgoing. Your child's safety is my first priority.
