I first became interested in working with children at a very young age. Being that my mother was a teacher, I would always come and visit her at work after school and recognized how truly dedicated she was to helping children achieve excellence. I realized that I shared this passion, too. Growing up, I went on to become certified in CPR and babysitting through the Red Cross. After many years of babysitting, I began tutoring students my age and countless other ages in a variety of subjects in my freshman to senior year of high school. I continued this into my college career. Not only do I have the experience of working with young children to adolescents, I have the knowledge to teach them. In my professional career, I have achieved academic excellence as a student and have received numerous scholarships and awards.
