I have lots of childcare experience, as well as a great deal of Early Childhood teaching and tutoring experience. I have a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. I have taught Pre-k full time; I also have experience with children with Special Needs. I know a great deal of children's songs, arts and crafts activities, clapping games, and I am extremely familiar with children's Literature. I am a very expressive book reader to children, even to the point of acting out the stoy with various expressive characters' voices. I also do follow-up activities to books with children. I encourage all things creative and educatinal. I speak some Spanish. I prefer to sit for children more than 3 months of age, but I do have newborn experience as well and I will sit for a newborn, if that is what is available/needed. I also have experience as a Tutor of 1st Grade- Read more 9th Grade. I have done lots of babysittingfor children of all ages, including 6 months through 12 years old. I am excellent at helping children with their homework and I also give extra help in various subject areas, if need be. I also love to cook. I really love children and I have lots of patience with them.
