I am a teaching assistant working towards my teaching certification. I do not have professional nanny experience, but I have babysitting experience, and professional experience at employers where I was required to do laundry, cook, and clean. I am CPR and first aid certified in case of an emergency. I love to engage children in the same way I used to be engaged as a child such as playing games, playing with toys, arts and crafts, Due to my background in education and as a teaching assistant, I would be a great nanny for homework help. I do not mind running errands, or picking up and dropping off children.

We hired Amanda to babysit for our 9-month old daughter while we attended a local wedding. It was our first time leaving her with a sitter, so we were a bit anxious. Amanda immediately put our minds at ease -- she was communicative, punctual, and highly attentive to our daughter. Amanda took her for a walk, played, and got her off to sleep without a hitch. We couldn't recommend Amanda more highly!

Amanda is trustworthy, kind and responsible. She is incredibly patient and was wonderful with both of our kids. She had amazing ideas for projects and outdoor activities. I highly highly recommend her.
