I am currently a teacher at a daycare where we care for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 10 years old. I absolutely love working with children and it is truly such a rewarding job. I volunteered at my local library for 7 years to run events catering to children from 2 to 12 years old and I've loved working with children ever since. I'd love to help more families by being there. I am great at making fun and easy crafts from everyday items, playing games and fostering children's curiosity to learn through play. Seeing children go through the stages of development and providing a nurturing environment for that is amazing. It is wonderful to be able to take advantage of the stage of learning the children are in by providing developmentally appropriate knowledge and skills, whether that is through tummy time, learning to walk, working on Read more sight words, sounds and vocabulary words when they are in that stage of learning, or playing games and making silly crafts to help with fine and gross motor skills!
