I have been babysitting for about 9 years now, I gave management experience for residential homes for low functioning individuals with disabilities. I currently care for a 4 year old with developmental disabilities and seizures, and her 13 month old little brother who is not developmentally delayed. I have expereince with both adults and children with disabilities, low/high functioning. I am great with providing education and support with individuals with seizures or medically fragile. Also have expereince caring for elders. I have my AMAP (medication administration) and VAN ( certification to transport individuals in wheelchairs ). I do have to renew my CPR cert, and have even state required meal prep training, contamination trainings. I easily adapt to my surroundings, multi task and improvise due to change of plans if needed. Being punctual means alot to me! I take HUGE pride in my work. I also volunteer at my local Read more VFW (life member) on my down time and clean houseses for extra cash. I am also a Financial Liaison part time and currently working on a community revitalization project Fluent in Portuguese (read,write), some Spanish. Went for my BA in psychology but couldn't afford to finish due to having to work and support myself.
