Hi there! My name is Meghan and I currently live in Long Beach, NY. I am energetic and can quickly create a real bond with children while at the same time, respecting the family's privacy. I have a warm, caring, and nurturing personality, and come to you with a strong background in childhood education and development and committed to promoting a child's physical, mental, and emotional development (of course, having fun while we do activities). I love interacting with children where I'm not afraid to let them reveal the inner kid in me. I've worked as a teaching assistant in a local school for 5 years where I assisted with the lead teacher in all subjects and areas. Working as a teaching assistant, I got to establish one-on-one relationship with the children and help individual children with their specific needs. While working at this daycare my responsibilities were caring for all children's needs, prepared breakfast and lunch for the kids, changed children's diapers while establishing a learning environment. Within my community I have been very active. I have coached children in many different sports ranging from 2 years old to 15. I have been a camp counselor, sports camp supervisor, and lifeguard. I recently just ended my career as a jetblue flight attendant to take care of a sick loved one. I have three amazing nieces ranging from ages of 5 months to 7 years old where I am fully active with them.
