I have just graduated with my master’s degree in speech language pathology from Adelphi University. In addition, I have a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders and a minor in education. I have over five years of experience working with children of varying ages. I completed an externship at the Seaford Manor Elementary School, in which I worked with numerous school-aged children. I instructed and motivated these children to participate in various activities. In addition, I worked at a pediatric therapy clinic, which granted me the opportunity to work with children varying from 10 months old to 10 years old. This job allowed me to provide language therapy to children through play and group activities. I planned and implemented all activities with the children. Furthermore, I was a tutor at Wildwood Elementary School, which required me to assist school-aged children with reading and writing tasks. I am hardworking, patient, outgoing, and considerate which will allow me to formulate bonds with children and provide excellent care.
