Stacy B.

Stacy will put on quite a show and make you feel like you're hiring the best person to take care of your child, but what she really does is take advantage of new, loving parents. We met with Stacy back in the beginning of October to take care of our newborn daughter. She was our front runner from the beginning as she made us feel at ease with her around. We had two interviews with her and spent time doing a full background check (clean) and calling her references (god knows who they actually are?) . The week before she was supposed to start, she made up a story about "her mom having a heart attack." Which we believed. We pushed off her start date and were juggling family around to watch our kid so that she could tend to her mother. Finally she started 2 weeks later. Upon further investigation, when she was supposedly caring for her sick mother, she was actually in Pittsburgh visiting her daughter. She then worked one full week for us and the following week her daughter was getting married. She had no problem taking her vacation day pay (and again, we had to find childcare for this day), holiday pay for thanksgiving and the day after and then sent a text message on Saturday evening quitting. We called her. No response. Texted her, no response. Called the hospital, NO SICK MOTHER. This woman is a liar and a fraud, do not let her into your home. Then I posted on facebook that I was looking for a nanny because mine screwed me over and it ended up she did the same thing to another local family. Don't fall for it. She gets kicks out of turning peoples lives upside down. Sick, sick person.
