I just moved here last year from Cleveland OH, I am going to be a junior in college but doing it remotely. I have very flexible hours and I am very good at communicating with parents. Since I was a young girl, I have always been babysitting/care taking for my neighbors, cousins, siblings and more. In Ohio I was a nanny for 2.5 years for 3 children. I was able to take them to any places, appointments, practices, and more that they needed to be at. I also had to cook meals, prepare snacks, help with homework and more. I loved taking the kids I took care of to the park, on walks, or really anything that they wanted to do. Since being in NY I was the Nanny for a family with a 5 and 7 year old. As well as a Nanny for a family with a 6 month old. I am CPR certified and I am studying to be a Physical Therapist at the time. Id love to meet in person or over the phone to discuss more and of course meet you and your child.

I am a 37 year-old early childhood teacher from Chile. While studying during college, I spent a summer babysitting for a family whose mother needed assistance watching a 2 year-old while caring for her newborn. I was responsible for clothing and feeding the child and enjoyed doing some activities with him. I worked in my home country following my studies as a rural public school teacher for a year and a half. My nine students ranged in age from 4 to 6. After that, I came to the United States under a work visa to work as a Spanish teacher in a private school in Massachusetts for one year and a half, developing activities for toddlers. After I finished my contract with the school, I worked as a babysitter for infants and toddlers. Until I moved to the United States (March 2024), I taught in a Catholic school. I worked there for 7 and a half years as a Pre-K and Kindergarten teacher. I managed a class size of 34 students with a co-teacher. I did remote teaching during the pandemic and am comfortable leading online classes. I love storytelling. I took online classes in storytelling and it is one of my student’s favorite activities. I really enjoy singing and I believe that it’s a great way to release stress and an amazing tool I have used in my teaching. I am fluent in English and Spanish.

Hi parents! I'm Laura, and early childhood education has been my passion since I was 16! That's when I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to working with children. It all started with babysitting for my next-door neighbor, which led to volunteering in schools and spending more time around children throughout high school. In college, I gained invaluable experience observing classrooms, creating lesson plans, and learning from my mistakes under the guidance of experienceteachers. In my early 20s, I began my journey as a nanny, and it was then that I truly discovered the joy and fulfillment of being a caregiver. I love helping parents simplify their lives, seeing children happy and engaged, and creating successful, joyful days. Being around children, seeing their smiles, and engaging in creative activities brings me immense satisfaction! I'm reliable, have my own transportation, and especially love doing arts and crafts with kids. I'm excited to connect with families who are looking for a caring and dedicated individual.

I am a mother of 5 adults and always enjoyed watching children grow and learn. I am very active and Have over 27 years experience. I had my own licensed Daycare out of my home until last year when I closed due to an unfortunate family death overseas. I have a great program where the children are always happy and doing crafts ,playing outside, going on a hayride, apple picking, music ,art and free play, painting and homework help. We have a healthy breakfast, snack and lunch. I have always enjoyed watching children grow and learn. I I found it crucial to stay active with them because great health are the building blocks for our children. I always believe these type of activities crate a fun environment yet provide fundamental learning. I love cooking good healthy home made meals that give children the nourishment they need to grow. After opening and managing my own in home daycare I was finger printed and background checks have been completed on me. I've been certified in First Aid, CPR, MAT training. have always found a joy for caring for children no matter what age. I have experience with children, from newborns to pre-teens. When I had my own children at home I enjoyed watching other kids there ages as well. As they interacted among each other, they learned how to share, functional use of objects, ABC's, numbers, sounds, animals and other necessary learning tools to grow. Having a daycare I have had many kids from different upbringings and lifestyles and had no problems with dealing with what arises. I am always respectful of the families wishes for the child. Each child has individual needs and I am always willing to sit down with the family and talk about any concerns they might have. I think I would be a great asset to your family. My experience offers a variety of knowledge to assist you with your childcare. My love of children makes me a better childcare provider because the knowledge of working with kids for all these years have taught me love and patience. It has also made me realize that each child is different and some techniques may not work for all children. If need be I will work with the family and child to develop techniques to better understand his/her needs.
