I have worked for over five years as a teaching assistant at a daycare and have done nanny work for parents at my center, as well. My goal at the center was to help children grow and develop in a safe and healthy environment, and I would continue that work ethic with any child under my care. I have always been a very involved teacher and pride myself in having close and meaningful relationships with my students. I am also completing my bachelors at Western Michigan University in Child and Family Development with a plan to continue on with my masters, so not only is childcare my goal, it's also my education. I am also CPR certified through my daycare employment, which also included measures to prevent/stop choking.
