Hi- My name is chelsea an I’m 23 years old. An I’m currently in my second year of college for nursing at mercy college. My mother has a ny state daycare facility for over 25 year. I remember being so young an loving to be my moms little helper. Until I’ve became of age an actually began to work. Which was at the age of 16. I became a daycare assistant an worked In the summer also sometimes after school if I had the time, because in my mother house hold school always came first! Working at the daycare I was able to grasp being around children all the way from 6 weeks old - 14 years of age since the facility always had a wide variety of children. Working with children is a great job for me because I love to being active, teaching them New things. An just Read more watching them grow into there beautiful, smart, full of personality little selves. With that being said I work with all aged children. From having funny with the baby’s/toddlers/kids doing tummy time, touch different textured baby toys, water playing, finger painting other art in crafts playing outside an ect. Making a different in kids life’s is the best feeling imaginable. Working hard really pays off I went from being apart of the daycare to a daycare assistant an working really hard on my fifth year I became assistant manager an my seventh year this year I’m now currently manager. I love my achievements I really do but being a manger is more actual facility work an organization! Then being active with the kids.
