Hi! My name is Joy. I'm a 31 year old Native New Yorker. I have recently graduated from NYU with a Global Masters of Social Work. My first field placement was in Shanghai, China where I worked with children living with developmental delays and my second year field placement was at a hospital where I worked on an ACT team who helped individuals living with severe and chronic mental illnesses - both of these placements were both unique and unbelievable! Before attending graduate school, I had been traveling internationally and working with different NGO's that focused on social, mental and economic justice.
