I can’t think of a time in my life where I haven’t been surrounded by children. Born the third of seven in Chicago, my love for “little humans” was inevitable. Throughout my entire life, I have been a childcare provider but more consistently in the last 10 years. My jobs have ranged from being a full time nanny to a one year old to a babysitter of 3. My outgoing personality and background in the arts helps me to connect w/the imaginative and creative sides that all children have. I cannot say enough about how incredible Kristin is. She has been my daughter's nanny/sitter/best friend for almost a year, since she was about 7 months, and she is truly exceptional. Kristin is warm, smart, fun, and reliable. Hiring her is akin to hiring an early childhood educator. She is so knowledgeable about infants and toddlers that she is a walking encyclopedia! She taught my daughter to wave, blow kisses, helped her crawl, walk, and teaches her about 10 words a week. She has helped us transition from bottle to sippy cups, she has helped us with schedule, naps, you name it. She is professional and reliable and a joy to be around. I'm hoping she will sit for us forever!

Kristin has been sitting for us regular for the last few weeks, and we feel extremely fortunate to have found her. She sits for our 7 month old daughter who has a very short attention span and requires complete focus. Kristin is patient, gentle, and caring, spending time with our daughter to encourage her to roll and crawl. She asked and noted detailed information about our schedule and made sure she went according to it without forgetting anything. When we are out, we feel totally comfortable knowing we have a professional taking care of our daughter who is not just able to handle anything but able to help her develop. You would be lucky to have her in your home and your children will be lucky too!

We hired Kristin for our 2-week work trip in NYC for our then 6-month old daughter. Out of many NY nannies we interviewed, emailed and texted with, she was by far the most communicative, professional and thoughtful from the beginning. Still, we were worried about leaving our infant spend so much time with someone completely new while we were away for 8-10 hours a day. But by the end of Day 1, all our concerns were gone. Our daughter loved her. Kristin easily and patiently adjusted to our ways of handling the baby yet gave useful advice when we needed. She was punctual, flexible with scheduling, very polite, and utterly professional. And it's really nice to work with someone who so clearly loves kids. (Sometimes you get those nannies who you feel like they are just "doing their job".) We spend a lot of time in NY for work, and she will definitely be the first person we'd contact for nanny support.
