Hello! My name is Razia, and I’m a proud native New Yorker with over 10 years of professional childcare experience. I am CPR & First Aid certified, college educated, and have cared for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. Families consistently describe me as patient, caring, energetic, fun-loving, and trustworthy. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive while making daily routines easier and stress-free for parents. Currently, I work with a wonderful family in Forest Hills, caring for two children (ages 12 and 6) and managing their household from start to finish. I oversee morning routines, school preparation, homework, meals, baths, bedtime, pet care for a cat and dog, errands, and overall household organization. I take pride in keeping the home running smoothly while providing consistent guidance, attention, and encouragement to the children. Infant & Newborn Care: I am experienced in preparing formulas, Read more sterilizing bottles, maintaining feeding and sleep schedules, diapering, infant laundry, baths, and baby-proofing the home. I focus on early learning activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting healthy growth and routines while providing attentive, loving care. Toddler Care: I assist with meals, snacks, potty training, baths, tidying toys, and creative play. I organize educational outings to libraries, museums, bookstores, playgrounds, and play centers, as well as age-appropriate classes and playdates to support social skills, independence, and curiosity. School-Age Care: I manage school pickups and drop-offs, transportation to after-school activities, homework guidance, snack and meal prep, outdoor play, and trips to parks, zoos, and museums. I help children develop responsibility, self-confidence, and healthy routines while balancing structure with fun and enrichment. I am available Monday through Friday, with flexibility for weekends, and can travel to Manhattan and Queens. I provide hands-on, individualized care, creating a loving, structured, and engaging environment for children while giving parents peace of mind that every need—childcare and household—is thoughtfully managed. I would love to bring my experience, energy, and dedication to your family. I am happy to provide recent outstanding references. You can reach me directly at 📞 917-272-8620.

Razia has been the nanny to our 3.5 year old for over 3 years. We adore her and are very sad that she is unable to work for us as she is going back to school. She is caring, loving, responsible and reliable. She is a part of our family. She is a 5 star nanny/babysitter and you will not regret hiring her to watch your child/children.

Razia babysat for us for nearly a year (after which we moved away and recommended her to several friends). She was absolutely terrific. While she mostly babysat at night, she was wonderful with our baby and then toddler son, helping read books, feed his evening bottle, and put him to sleep (no easy feat). She was wonderful with him and he really took to her. She has a nice, calm, and friendly personality (she even got our son a bday gift!) For parents, razia is extremely prompt and responsible (including sending hourly texts as I requested). She was flexible with last minute requests and returning later than expected (we would text we were running late). Most of all, with her significant experience with kids, I definitely trusted that she would make the right decision should a serious situation occur. You can relax knowing razia is at home looking after your little ones!

Razia has been our weekend babysitter for about a year and we cannot say enough good things about her. My girls are 7 and 3 and they get so excited when we tell them that Razia will be coming to babysit-they can't wait for us to leave! Razia is always prompt and very flexible and understanding if our plans change. She always goes out of her way to leave our apartment in better condition then she found it! She frequently accompanies us on our family outings and we consider her one of our family. Working with Razia has been a joy and a pleasure, she is a gem of a person.

Razia has been an invaluable caretaker for our son. To this day, and he has known her for 14 months now, he gets so excited when she shows up I have to be careful he doesn't jump out of my arms while we are walking up the steps to the apartment. I am a stay-at-hom-mom and do consulting work. Thus my son and I are together every day, all day until I get a project. Then I need to be gone for 10 hour days for various amounts of days. Going from just me to a caregiver can be a big adjustment, but Razia has made it easy. She started working for us when he was five months old, working with us through many milestones. During the baby food stage, she was game to make homemade purees for which I had found recipes. When he was older and we started solids, she was helpful in preparing meals for him. I can tell by the way he lights up when he first sees her and when we are in the transition time before I leave, that she is very interactive with him. He points, babbles and pulls her to his toys. He wants to be held by her and doesn't cry when I leave. They enjoyed walks in the stroller when he was younger, then when he was old enough for the playground, they tackled that. She was game to take him to classes as I requested and enjoyed reading, singing and playing games when they were at home. Razia kept detailed notes of feedings, naps, diapers when he was young and continued to make note of food, naps and activities as he aged. She filled out a detailed nap spreadsheet I kept to follow my son's sleep patterns and respected my diligent efforts to keep him on a fairly tight schedule. We can tell she truly cares for our son, and our minds are at ease when she is with him. We feel lucky to have Razia in our lives and our sons.

We scheduled an interview and spoke via email a few times. At the time of the interview, she called to tell me she was two blocks away. She never showed. I called and emailed to make sure she was ok, but never heard back.
