My name is Rick Franchella, and I am twenty eight years old. I have been an elementary school teacher for the past four years. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in History from the College of the Holy Cross, and Master's Degree in Teaching Grades 1-6 from Manhattanville College. I have taught in three diverse neighborhoods in Connecticut, New York, and Washington, D.C. I have recently left my wonderful experiences teaching to pursue my dream of becoming a licensed social worker/school counselor. I have an excellent rapport with children, which is why every position I have ever held has been with children. In addition, I have been a Summer Camp Director for nine years in the Bronx. I currently am the Site Manager for a company called The Tiny Scientist in Brooklyn teaching STEM programs to children aged 2-10.
