Amanda is currently watching our 4 month old and they’re becoming such a cute duo. She’s very loving, nurturing and so helpful. I often see them cuddling and reading books together. She’s also an expert on newborn and toddler care that she even teaches us things to help provide better care for our little ones. We’re so lucky to have her as part of our family.

We had her babysit our 10-month old daughter while we had a party in our house. She was great with our daughter, super helpful around the house when baby was occupied with other guests, and she had some good tips for teething and sleep regressions too. Would definitely use her again and recommend her highly.

Amanda was timely and responsive. She was able to navigate communication challenges with ease. She took such wonderful care of our 11 month old son and even did some light housework as well, making coming home after a long day at work that much easier. She also entertained our very needy large dog with pets and treats. I would highly recommend working with Amanda.

Amanda is great. I highly recommend her. She babysat our 10 and 2 yrs old and they had so much fun. They built castle out of a big box and colored it from inside and outside. The kids loved her and us too. Would definitely hire her again.

Amanda was great, arrived early to our condo and had a good attitude with our 1 year old and 3 year old daughters. She sent us text updates including a creative princess castle made out of boxes. I was surprised to see my 1 year old was able to fall asleep by the time I returned from dinner which is sometimes difficult. Amanda left the condo nicely cleaned up, with dirty clothes running in the dyer.

Finding the right babysitter in NYC is an incredible task. Being not from the city, I used a platform to find this human I would entrust with the life of my newborn. Being a working mom is hard enough, but to navigate through the sea of potential caregivers can be a daunting challenge. Trust me, the first day I left my child with Amanda, I cried. But by the next few days, I saw my child light up with glee every time he saw her. My child's first wave and high-five were to her, that smile when you know your baby loves someone. She was exceptional at taking care of him, bringing him joy, and showing genuine care. Amanda sent me pictures throughout the day of their adventures, and when he was upset or hungry, she always attended to him and knew how to soothe his tears & fill his belly. Not only was she able to adapt to my unpredictable schedule, but she did so without a single complaint. This level of flexibility and understanding is truly rare and commendable. One extra special thing Amanda did every night was she waited about 15-30 minutes when I returned for me to get settled, dressed for bed, and made sure she held my baby during that time. No other babysitter has ever shown this extra level of care, not just to take care of the baby but to take care of the mother as well. Yes, some people might be more structured than Amanda, but her ability to go with the flow was a huge asset that many nannies these days do not possess. She even took the time to share valuable tips and tricks to help me better care for my baby. I was incredibly grateful for the friendship that developed during that week. If you want someone who cares deeply and truly loves your child, I wholeheartedly recommend choosing her. Amanda may have her quirks and a unique sense of humor, but it is precisely those traits that make her all the more human and endearing. Her dedication to her job was evident in her daily climb up a 5-story walk-up, traveling from the bronx for an hour+++ always showing up on time, staying up late and playing with my child, she truly conquered a week of babysitting with remarkable grace. I wish I could go back to that week and do it all over again, knowing that my child was in such capable and caring hands. In summary, Amanda's warmth, adaptability, and genuine affection for children make her an extraordinary choice as a nanny. I cannot speak highly enough of her dedication and the joy she brought to my child's life during her time as our caregiver.

Amanda cared for our 2mo old twin boys for the day and was prompt/on time, gave them great care while we were out, and no issues at all. Would recommend her for your kid.

My wife and I have been using Amanda as both a day and night time nurse for our 3 month old son for several weeks now. She is great with infants and is extremely knowledgeable about how to take care and comfort them. Her decades long experience with caring for children shows in how she is able to comfort our son, change diapers, feed him, put him to sleep, etc. We are able to sleep well knowing our son is in her care. I highly recommend her.

Amanda has been taking care of our daughter for the past 8 months and has been excellent! Our daughter was 6 months old when Amanda started and we couldn't be happier with the way she cares for our baby, who is now 14 months old. Amanda is very caring, loving and a joy to have in the household and our daughter loves her. Amanda is very engaging - constantly playing, reading and stimulating our daughter. Amanda is very pro-active and arranges play-dates, and takes her to her classes in the neighborhood as well as to the park, museums etc. Amanda also cooks, cleans and does the laundry for our daughter and is very tidy. She is very organized and really thinks carefully about what to do to stimulate our daughter so that she learns things in new and different ways. Our daughter is a very happy, funny, active toddler, due to a large extent, the way Amanda takes care of her. We are very lucky to have Amanda with us!

We spoke with Amanda by phone and she sounded great. Then she scheduled an interview with us and did not show up -- she did not call and did not reply to our voicemail to her. We were concerned about her reliability.

Amanda has been taking care of my 2 year old little boy for almost 3 weeks on a full-time basis. She came highly recommended by her previous employer and we couldn't be happier with her. She is extremely gentle with my son, constantly engages him in a variety of activities and often goes above and beyond what would be expected. For example, one Friday I asked if she could begin the potty training process the following week. She showed up to work on Monday morning with a sticker chart she had created over the weekend to record his progress (and make it a little more fun for him) as well as a bag of treats to reward him when he was successful in his attempts. She further provided positive reinforcement and encouragement and, needless to say, he happily used the potty for the very first time on this first day. I get photos of his activities with little updates throughout the day. Additionally, Amanda puts a lot of thought into the activities she organizes. She really thinks about what he might enjoy and she finds a creative way to use his interests to teach him something new. She keeps the apartment extremely tidy and, most importantly, Amanda creates an environment that is nurturing and loving for our son. - Cara G.
