My name is Angela and I just graduated from Columbia University with a M.S in Speech Language Pathology. I just moved back to Minnesota, and am hoping to find a summer nanny position before beginning my career in the fall. I will be working in a school district in the fall, and depending on your families needs I am available after school in the fall as well! Over the last five years I have been working in a professional environment with children. I was an early-childhood education teacher at a local school in Minneapolis. There I gained experience working with children in a school environment. Increasing my knowledge in curriculum writing, activity planning and general skills for working with children. I also have worked part-time as a nanny. I have the skills needed to provide care for children in a nurturing environment, ensuring enriching development. I also enjoy helping with Read more house-hold tasks. Working with children is my passion, and I hope to continue following this passion. Others recognize my natural rapport with children as well. My babysitting and nannying jobs have included positions with up to 5 children including twins. I also have experience working with children with special needs. Outside of specific childcare positions, I have worked as a research assistant at the University of Minnesota. There I participated in various research projects at the and was able to work with children participating in the studies. I also have worked as a volunteer at Children's Hospital of Minnesota this past year in the feeding clinic, related to my speech experience. I have experience working internationally at St. Mary's Hospital-London in the school room of the pediatric ward. Based on my experience and career goals you can see my passion is working with children! I enjoy the joy they bring to my life and hope to continue working with them during my professional career as a Speech Language Pathologist. I look forward to talking with you soon!
