I became a nanny because I've always had a passion caring for children. Growing up my mom owned her own business as a daycare provider, so I've been around children of all ages and backgrounds for as long as I can remember. Along with my extensive experience, I also have certifications in first aid and both adult and child CPR. I've also received training in crisis management and health and safety precautions among other things, more so pertaining to a school environment as I have worked in preschool/elementary classrooms, but can be carried over to home care as well. I also have ample experience caring for children with special needs that include autism spectrum disorder, cognitive delays, and behavioral issues. I enjoy getting to know all the ins and outs of the child/children I care for.
