Hi all! My name is Ava and I am a 22 year-old female wrapping up my last semester at Virginia Tech where I am studying Cognitive-Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychology. After graduating I plan to return home to Northern Virginia and am seeking an opportunity to work in childcare this summer. I have experience as a state employed respite/attendant care provider working with children with various disabilities/special medical needs. I am passionate and enthusiastic about working with children and have accumulated 8 years of volunteer experience spent with children in the classroom and on the soccer field. My desire is to work for a great family throughout the 2022 summer to assist with anything from caretaking to other household needs. I will be available from June through mid-August as I will be beginning my Master's in Clinical Social Work at Columbia University come the end of August.
