s an educator, I am inspired by the personalities and wisdom of young minds. After earning my Masters Degree in Education from Teachers College, I spent three and a half years as an associate teacher, and was able to obtain head teacher status in December of 2020. Any and all continued child care and education/tutoring experience will help me continue to grow in the next year. Teaching yoga and mindfulness has always been part of child care for me, as I took Advanced Yoga as an undergraduate at Smith College. There, I learned to allow thoughts and feelings to pass through my mind without attachment. Over the years, my practice has taught me self-compassion, self-efficacy, and with children, pure animated joy. Tutoring and instruction require immense patience and a great deal of empathy. I seek to earn the trust and respect of the family and child before we embark upon Read more rigorous academic work.
