I have experience with younger children from my time at Camp Ramaquois, where I was the head camp counselor. I was in charge of 20 children, ages 4 through 5, along with the other counselors. I was in charge of creating lesson plans for them, monitoring their behaviors, maintaining log-books for parents, etc. Most recently I spent my time working for the Mascarenhas Family here in New York, looking after their two children, ages 6 and 9. My duties included before and after school care, help with homework, light housekeeping and preparing dinners for the children. Before that, I was working for a family in Providence whose child needed special accommodations due to his Down syndrome. I enjoy working with children because it such a rewarding career. For me, there is nothing better than to see a child learn and grow while setting them up on the right path.
