I love children and have enjoyed baby-sitting, caring for children of many different ages, helping with homework and tutoring since I was 12 years old. I am warm, patient, encouraging, dedicated, fun, a good listener, a sensitive disciplinarian and organized. I have a bachelor's degree and have worked as a journalist and editor for several years now. I still write on a freelance basis, but I want to spend my time doing things I truly enjoy and working with children is at the top of that list. My schedule is flexible, but ideally I would like to work in (or close to) Nyack, which is where I live. I have a car and a clean driving record. I love helping children with homework! I would hope to be able to do more of that. I enjoy cooking as well, but recipes are helpful.
