Hello! I am a retired Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant with 20 years of experience working for the NYC Board of Education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and am also a proud mother of two. My driver's license is clean, and I am CPR certified. I have a genuine love for children and extensive experience working with special needs kids. Patience, care, and nurturing are qualities I pride myself on. I have significant classroom experience as well as tutoring backgrounds. I have experience working with infants and toddlers. I have worked part-time at a Montessori school with toddlers aged 18 months to three years. I find this age group particularly fascinating, and I thoroughly enjoy working with these young children. I possess extensive experience in feeding and supervising their naps. The two-year-old stage is a critical period, during which they acquire communication skills and assimilate new knowledge. Additionally, I am comfortable with pets and can help with walking them if required. Currently, I am working part-time with two sisters, ages five and six. My responsibilities include picking them up from school, taking them to various activities, entertaining them, and preparing dinner when necessary. I am also currently working with a three-year-old girl who is speech-impaired and has some medical issues. My duties include feeding and changing her, as well as engaging her in activities, specifically puzzles and other exercises to improve her motor skills. I also assist with driving her to outside services and school. The mom just recently had a baby so I do help with him as well. My duties includes feeding, changing, taking him for walks.

Wendi was our daily sitter for our 4 & 5/6 year old girls for a year and was beyond amazing! She was reliable, an excellent role model, and deeply caring. She drove our girls to afterschool activities, took them to the playground, and on playdates. She was wonderful with our pup and would also make dinner for the girls and help with homework, when needed. We love Wendi and can’t more highly recommend!

Hi I’m Sophia! I’m a grad student currently attending SBU to get my MBA! I just graduated in 2025 with a Bachelors of Science in Business and Psychology. I am American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certified for Infants, Children, and Adults. I’ve had 5 years paid experience in childcare starting as a mother’s helper, to babysitter, to nanny. Over the past 5 years I’ve worked with several different families. I started working at my university’s child care Infant-Toddler Room in January 2022 in which I assist with taking care of 15 children ranging from 3 months to 3 years old! Through the daycare, I have acquired several different types of skills through mandated trainings, like allergy awareness and safe sleep. I have travel nanny experience with two different families caring for their infants (6mo and 8mo). I also have a handful of families that I occasionally babysit for! I'm very creative and passionate about art, I love to think out of the box and come up with new crafts and developmentally appropriate activities! I love letting the kids express their creativity through play, music, and art!

I have extensive experience working with infants, toddlers and children, especially with ages 3 months to 6 years old. I spent 6 wonderful years in my hometown as a camp counselor in the Great Neck School District. I also had the amazing opportunity to be an early literacy specialist for the Parent-Child Home program, an international network of program sites that provides low-income families with the necessary skills and tools to ensure their children thrive. Lastly, I spent a fun year working at a daycare, taking care of infants ages 6 to 18 months. I’m fluently bilingual in English and Spanish. Current Certifications include: Wilderness First Responder, CPR Certified (Adult and Child), Epinephrine Auto-Injector certification. Availability starting August 2026: I am available on Mondays and Friday’s from 9:00am-8pm and into the later evenings. During the rest of the week, I am available starting at 5:30pm. I am also available on the weekends with a 1 week's advance notice. Thanks for taking the time to read and I hope to hear from you soon! Warmly, Freda

Deneisha is a total professional! This was our first time having a non family member care for our baby, and Deneisha made us feel comfortable from the start with her calm and confident demeanor- we trusted right away that our son was in great hands! It’s clear she has a ton of experience. Deneisha not only was attentive to our son’s needs and followed all of our preferences and routines, she also proactively made suggestions such as schedule tweaks, feeding tips, and sick care advice - always in a super respectful and supportive way. I would highly recommend her!

We hired Nicole in March ‘25 and she currently still Nannie’s for us. She was a gem we stumbled on! We were so lucky to find her. She started taking care of our babygirl at 3 months and now she’s a toddler. Nicole is compassionate, caring, nurturing and amazing with our little girl. She has read to her from day one and has worked with us for her to achieve her milestones; from helping us to teach her to roll, to tummy time, to her drinking from an open and straw cup, Nicole has helped us without crossing boundaries. She is also in tune with our girl and learned her cues which has been helpful for our babygirl too. She’s respected our schedule and followed it as well, even with the changes we make. Nicole is not just a typical nanny, she truly cares for the intellectual development of a child and we have benefitted greatly from it. I highly recommend her. I always love the updates throughout the day and the final check in when I come home. I highly recommend her!
