Hello, my name is Laura Ly Rodriguez and I just turned 31 years old. I am CPR and first aid certified. I went to John Jay College and majored in history and minored in art, but I have always had a passion for working with children of all ages. Those who know me personally, often say that I am patient and have a talent for working with children. It gives me so much joy to put a smile on a child's face and I really love getting to know each child that I have worked with. I am currently taking an online course to pursue my dream of beginning my own family daycare. As my resume says, I have spent many years volunteering my time and working with different families and last year for about 7 months I was working full-time taking care of a young toddler until her mother retired. As of recently if I am either studying to be a daycare owner and/or caring for animals (while their owners go on vacation) or siblings (for date night).
