Hello my name is Colleen and I am a recent graduate of SUNY New Paltz where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology as well as minors in Deaf Studies and German. For the past seven years I have been working with children from ages 1 to 15 in many different environments, whether it was at their home or in a daycare or classroom setting. Working in different environments and meeting so many new children helped strengthened my leadership skills as well my ability to communicate and form bonds with children from all walks of life. Along with my personal growth, working with children has shown me how much I love meeting new kids and learning about their individual interests. I consider my own interests to be pretty diverse; I’ve been playing sports since I was 5, so I love sports and playing outdoors, but I’ve also been interested in Read more art my whole life so I’m great with arts and crafts. I love animals and I have experience preparing food, car-pooling, housekeeping and helping with homework.
