As someone who started caring for children at the age of 12 through the babysitting co-op at my church, it's safe to say that I love kids! I find working with children to be very fulfilling and I am passionate about child and family advocacy as well as children's healthcare. In the years I've spent caring for children I've babysat for kids of all ages and I've volunteered at children's hospitals, child advocacy centers, preschool camps, and musical theater camps. I also spent my Summer of 2021 working as a counselor at a pediatric oncology camp and I've recently been substitute teaching. My ultimate career goal is to become a Child Life Specialist. In December, I received my B.S in Human Development and Family Science and I will be starting a M.S. program in Child Life, Family Collaboration, and Administration in August.
