I have worked as a care giver for many years, not only as a Nanny but a summer camp counselor, 1:1 aid for children with special needs, as well as a Softball/ Basketball coach. I pursued my education at the University at Albany in New York where I got a degree in Sociology and Gender studies. During this time I worked as a nanny and began my position as a 1:1 aid at a school for children with special needs, mostly focusing on children on the autism spectrum. I have certifications in infectious disease management, ABA, and 1 2 3 step compliance. Once I graduated I started a position as a Community Healther Educator where I taught children and adults about healthy lifestyles. I'm currently looking to relocate and start as a fulltime Nanny within the upcoming weeks/months. I have had my AED and CPR certifications as well and would Read more be willing to get re certified if necessary. I'm also a certified crisis counselor. I've always loved working with children and getting the opportunity to watch them grow is extremely rewarding. I began babysitting at age 13 and now at age 25 I'm a fulltime nanny for a wonderful family in Burlington, Vermont. They are fully aware that I plan on relocating.
