My profession in childcare began with I started working for my local YMCA as an after school teacher. They notice my love for kids and asked if I’ll continue to work with them for the summer as a camp counselor. During that time I worked with kids ages ranged from 6-13 years old for about 5 years. My main focus were to provide a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment. Assist students with homework in various subjects and grade levels. I was also given the opportunity to choreograph cultural programs and dances. In 2014 I had my son and 2 years later I decided to work at a daycare as a Head teacher. I worked with kids age range from 3 months to 5 years old. I Ensure the safety and well being for all kids. I Planed and prepare a learning environment for the child based on their age. I also worked as a full time nanny during the pandemic for one family following all guidelines. During that time I’d continued to provide a safe and learning environment. We Scheduled lunch and nap time. Every Friday we had a filled trip. We went to the zoo, Library, aquarium, pool or out to eat. I’m currently back at the daycare and started working on my CDA.
