Hi! My name is Savannah and I’m 19 years old. I have two younger siblings, so I feel like I’ve been babysitting for years! Caretaking, honestly, comes natural to me, as I’ve had to it with both siblings and my grandmother, who suffers from left-sided paralysis. I also was a “babysitter,” in a sense, at my high school; I was a founding member of the ‘Honor and Excellence Mentor Fellowship’ program. This program allowed for me to mentor my peers, and we also worked alongside elementary students that shared our campus. I also was a youth pastor at my church and assisted with running daycare every week. My goal, ultimately, is to become a LPN, because I love helping people. However, I figured while I get my foot in the door, I should stick to what I know and love best. I think what sets me apart from other people Read more is that I’ve genuinely been doing this for most of my life, in all different forms! I have taken care of children from all different backgrounds and in many different environments, while still providing safety, entertainment and comfort. Many of the children I have taken care of in the past come from circumstances that absolutely needed extra help, which gives me an edge many individuals may not have. I take pride in my ability to cater to all children and to understand all circumstances.
