Granny sits! I moved to Saugerties, NY to be closer to my son, daughter-in-law, and grandchild. I raised my son in Brooklyn and my style of child rearing was most influenced by the book "Between Parent and Child," by Haim Ginott. My son attended P.S 87 for elementary school, Performing Arts for Junior High, and Brooklyn Friends for High School. I loved parenting and have never lost my love of parenting. I am a writer and a reiki master, a college graduate, and rather than supplementing my income with office work, I started babysitting, because I enjoy children so much. My most recent nanny job was taking care of a little girl in Rhinebeck. the family is moving but the child and her mom and I continue to facetime once a week. What I bring the job is a mother's experience, love beyond all reason, and common sense. Reading, outdoor Read more and indoor play are two of my specialties.
