I believe in actively providing positive experiences and role modeling for children in order for proper development. Sharing songs, stories, cooking, cleanup, playtime, creativity and more engages the child and provides healthy connections. Learning from mistakes is also very important to further refine a child's understanding. I have worked in homes, afterschool programs, summer camps, pools, mentor programs, foster programs and classrooms. All of these expereinces have taught me something different and new. In total I probably have at least ten years in caring for children from ages 1-14. My biography may seem over qualified, however child care is who I am and part of what I do.
