I became a caregiver because I've always been fascinated by watching kids learn new things and seeing their faces light up as they become more self-sufficient and learn how to do new things! I worked at a daycare center for two years, and in those years, I floated around each room, experiencing all of the different stages(infants-PreK). Then I started working on my CDA to further my understanding of child development and became the Lead Teacher in PreK for a year! As a result, I have recently been MAT trained and can administer medication to children in a daycare setting! I loved teaching, but the added responsibilities of being in a daycare became too much for my mental health, and I'm looking for something a little more laid back and individualized.
