Hello !! My name is Elizabeth and I absolutely love children! I have worked at the Learning Experience in Stony Brook as a teachers aid. I am CPR and first aid certified. I also have taken online seminars on infant care through the Learning Experience. At the preschool the children’s age group was 3 to 4 year olds. At the school I was the overseer of 8 three year olds daily, so I’m sure your family will be a piece of cake compared to that! I created lesson plans and daily activities which were very interactive and stimulating! Before that I worked for my grandma’s daycare in Staten Island which had infants to 6 year olds. I have impeccable references and everyplace I’ve worked, I’ve left with an amazing attendance record. I am very comfortable with pets as I grew up with seven dogs and five cats!! The reason I would like to continue my work in childcare is that I would like to save up and put myself through school to be a teacher. I am fun and very energetic! I will create a fun learning and interactive environment so that your child is never bored! I am very schedule oriented and very quick to adapt to your family’s needs. I am very comfortable cooking and cleaning ! I absolutely love to cook so meal prepping is not ever an issue! I also am very comfortable cleaning and doing laundry as I have been on my own since I was 18! I know my way around a house! I was in school to be a radiologist but since I have changed my mind and would like to continue in childcare. I am looking for a long term commitment to a family as their nanny and caregiver. I would like to help out with the family at least 40 hours a week and I don’t mind staying overtime and watching them on weekends.
