After graduating from college and working in the business world, I had the opportunity to stay home and homeschool my three children. I enjoyed teaching and nurturing them as they grew up and now that my youngest is off to college I am looking for an opportunity to pour those years of experience into another family. Over the years I have had opportunities to work with a variety of children of all ages and enjoy encouraging active creative play environments to encourage children to discover their individual interests and talents. Organized and positive by nature I believe that kids enjoy a healthy somewhat structured environment (obviously different depending on the ages and personalities of the children) with lots of opportunity to be creative and active. I have taken classes on coaching and find that the insight that I learned also carries over into helping kids learn to develop healthy life Read more skills. Whether it is a young child learning how to share toys or deal with inner emotions, or an older child working through challenges at school, each child and each journey is unique and needs nurturing to reach it's full potential. I am able and willing to help kids with homework or assist parents with cooking and cleaning as needed.
