Hello! I am a 27-year-old female with a masters degree in early childhood education. I have extensive experience working with children of all ages. For the last few months I have been student teaching in a second grade and kindergarten classroom as part of my certification to teach in New York State. As of May I will be a New York State certified teacher in Early Childhood Education. My student teaching concludes at the end of April and I am currently looking for a full or part time nannying position for the spring and summer (and hopefully longer)! I have open availability. Prior to my last job and starting graduate school, I spent the past eight years working as a caregiver and babysitter, including working as a full time live-in nanny. I believe that children can actively learn through play and that children do best when being engaged and interacted with.
