Hello, my name is Jeanna (pronounced G-anna), I am 19 and have been working with children since I was 14. I have worked with boys and girls of all ages, children with behavioral disorders, sick children, and even multiple children/infants at a time. I enjoy interacting with the children under my care; playing with them, reading to/with them, helping them as they need, and even teaching them new things! I work with parents/guardians to ensure that the care their children are receiving is the best care possible and that it coincides with the what they as parents/guardians are implementing in their own time with the children (i. e. potty training, reward systems, weaning, etc). And since I have always liked working and interacting with children, this has inspired me to pursue a career in pediatrics (a pursuit which I have begun my education for recently).
