I am a mom of 4 active boys. The oldest is in college, the youngest is 11 and twins in the middle are 15. One twin has intellectual delay and autism. I have worked with children in many capacities, including as a nanny, preschool teacher, director of a daycare facility, one to one aide, and have been the coordinator of many support programs including TIES in our local district, and Banana Splits in another. These experiences and others, as well as those as a mother, have equipped me well to handle most child care situations. I have a bachelor’s degree, a clean license, and am a Christian. I most recently worked professionally as a coordinator of services for people with disabilities. I left this job recently as the hours I was putting in took too much time away from my own family. I am really enjoying being a SAHM now Read more and being involved with my growing kids and their schooling. However it is no longer as demanding as it once was. I am finding I would like a part time job to keep me occupied and to once again work with kiddos.
