I have been working with children of all ages for the past 20 years as a baby-sitter, nanny, instructional assistant, therapeutic staff support, and teacher. My passion and purpose in life is to help children grow and develop in all areas of learning and life. In my past sitter/nanny positions, I have cared for a family with 2 sets of twins. The mother was put on bed rest at 20 weeks and I was responsible for the daily routine for at the time boy and girl 2 year olds. Once the 2nd set of twins arrived home, they were on heart monitors and oxygen for the first couple of months home. The past 2 families I have cared for both had children ages 9/10 and 12/13. Both families care consisted of transportation to and from school/activities, light house cleaning, and preparing meals. As a TSS, I was in charge of Read more helping children on the autism spectrum with behaviors in home, school, and community. I implemented the treatment plan and helped the teachers and families carry through with the plan as well as teach them how to achieve the plan goals. Through my teaching career, I have been able to work with grades K, 2, 4, 5, and 6th in all areas of curriculum. Over the past 4 years I have mainly been working with grades 5th and 6th. In the last year, I have taken the role as Physical Education Teacher and 5/6th math support/enrichment. I am looking to help a family with children ages newborn-13 years of age. I would love to help you and your family continue your daily routines and work schedules by caring for your children’s’ daily needs, meals, light house cleaning, school work, and extra curricular activities.
