I'm a caring and dedicated Nanny, and I'm looking for a full time live-in or live out position. I enjoy travelling, writing, reading, film, outdoor activities, and the arts. In the midst of Covid-19 a lot of the way that we live has changed. Thus, the way I tackle my role as a Nanny and assistant has adapted. I follow Covid-19 etiquette of social distancing, hand washing, wearing mask, and keeping interactions to a trusted few. Fortunately, I am a licensed driver and have been driving my own vehicle to keep exposure at a low. During the pandemic, I have been able to help my family with virtual education. I have worked with children on pre-k through middle school education levels. I started my childcare career working for the public Parks and Recreation program. I lead the program for close to 5 years, focusing on activities for school aged children. Read more In the years following, I became a private Nanny caring for newborn and up, well into the teenage years. With newborns I focused on a lot of cuddles and interaction along with standard care of feeding, diaper changes, and managing sleep schedules. I kept a log of activities, schedules and ways to best assist the family. For my toddlers and older children, I supervise and engage all activity, set up play dates, plan/prep meals, perform light housekeeping and maintain household needs and organization. I'm passport adventure ready and willing to travel. I'm an expert swimmer and have worked with a child who was a competitive swimmer. I don't have any known allergies and have worked with cats and dogs in the home. I have been certified in CPR/AED and First Aid. I enjoy working with children and love to see them grow and flourish.
