Hello, my name is Patrick Heckman and I am currently a Junior at the University of Akron. While at the University I am studying education and am hopefully going to become a history teacher as well as coach athletics in the high-school setting. This last year at Akron I was able to get my life guarding certificate and obtain my CPR certification as well. Over the years I have had multiple experiences with kids it started off as just babysitting for my cousins, but then I found out I really do have a passion for the children and helping them in all ways possible. Then I started to work baseball camps and any sort of athletic camps with kids ranging from 4-17. This past summer I spent my time working at the Willowick day Camp with kids ranging from 7-9 years old.
