I worked as a mentor and tutor in a 4th and 5th grade ELA classroom. I tutored nine students individually, monitored and mentored select students in their social-emotional development, and provided whole class support. I also designed and supervised after-school programs for middle school students including, homework help, a self-empowerment club, and a chess club. I have worked as a troop leader for Girl Scout troops with children aged 5 - 11. I also have extensive babysitting experience with infants and toddlers, as well as experience working with children with ADHD and learning disabilities. A little more about me and my philosophy: I am a strong believer in authentic learning. Children's questions and interests provide an avenue for learning at every turn! I would love to work with children who enjoy time outdoors and crafts. These activities provide endless opportunities for learning and exploration. I am currently working on my Read more bachelor's in early childhood education and will complete my degree in December of 2022. I will be fully vaccinated in April.
