Hello! My name is Michelle and I am a mother of 4 super daughters ages 21, 13, 11 and 8! My oldest has a full scholarship and graduates this year with a double bachelors (Spanish/English) and minor in Women’s Studies!! The younger three are now so mature, confident and independent; I miss having little ones around! So about me: (short version) I left a passionate 13 year healthcare career to take a 1 year sabbatical - wound up dj-ing at a wine bar and this unexpected DJ career blew up! What I thought would be a small break from the grind turned into a fulltime career. I am a fulltime female DJ and love it!! Covid has changed things in my industry drastically. That being said it must be understood and comfortable for a family to know I do still DJ weddings, fully vaccinated, (recovered from covid 6 months ago), Read more I DJ masked up and use a plexiglass tabletop shield- all precautions are taken as much as is possible for the sake of my younger children and extended family. Things I love: teaching (successfully traditionally homeschooled my youngest 2 last year), dancing, soccer, mountain biking, walks or easy hikes, swimming, arts and crafts, adventures, reading (well years ago when I had time). If you want meal prep or planning I would be so excited! I love to cook, fresh and homemade. I make all my own pastas, sauces, pickles, dressings etc. you name it and I can make it from scratch! I made all my children’s baby food and wouldn’t mind doing that again! I have two dogs, Koda and Rolo and a kitty, Hera. The last infant I cared for came to me at 8 weeks and left at 18 months to go to day care. Her mother and I both stood and cried it was so sad, yet also completely rewarding to see her grow so much from the first stages of life! I used another site years ago in search of a nanny when I was working non-stop in the hospital. It was terrifying but after so many interviews we were extremely fortunate to find the perfect fit for our family. Today she is like another mother to my children even though she hasn’t worked for us in years. Nonetheless, good luck in your search!
