Hello, my name is Abbey and I am graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor's of Education (Integrated Social Studies, grades 7-12). I currently am serving through AmeriCorps as a health educator with Nelsonville-York City Schools. Over the years, I have been nannying children ranging from infants to age twelve. I am trained in First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Distribution both through AmeriCorps and my summer work as a teacher and lifeguard. I am on the creative side and enjoy thinking of activities to do with the children I care for, including homemade play-dough and painting. I love music and play the ukulele, making for musical days as well. Each age group and family tends to call for something different and I'm happy to take on those responsibilities.
