I am your Alice from the Brady Bunch! I have over 20 years experience in childcare beginning with running an home-day care and moving on to being a private nanny. I have been a full time nanny for the past 10years for only three families, so longevity is key. My experience brings a lot to the table, having had over 20 years experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age up to 5th grade. I am reliable, honest and dependable, taking very few days off, and am never late to work. I am extremely organized and a problem solver. I became a private nanny for one of my home day care families and stayed with them until both of their children were in school full time. I have been working with my current family for almost two years, but the children will be in school full time and my time with them will be up at the end of this school year (May, 2017), so I need to find a new, long term family that needs great childcare! I relate well to children and am able to communicate on their level which creates a strong bond. I like to be active with the children I care for by participating in age appropriate activities such as walks, a variety of parks, the beach, library, Lake Erie Nature Center, story hour, crafts, reading, puzzles, and games. My very favorite part of a child's development is language. I speak with them constantly - reading, talking, singing. In fact the last two children I have cared for from infancy have spoken in complete sentences before they were 2 years old! I can provide an extensive resume package and have excellent professional references, have reliable transportation, full coverage insurance and a clean driving record. I also have a clean background check through the Lorain County Sheriff's office. Non-smoker. On a personal note I have three grown children and have been married for 30+ years.
