A little bit about me: I am a very compassionate nanny, with an expertise in childcare, working with children ages 0-16 for more than 20 years. Mother of two teens who are confident, polite, smart well rounded children. I am also a wife to an amazing, supportive military husband. With my husbands career, we were both put threw a very intense, all encompassing background check, which would give me an extreme peace of mind as a mom myself. My major in college was Elementary Education, during which I thought for 2 years in a catholic school system. Shortly after teaching I married my husband and we had 2 children. In that time my main focus was raising my kids. As well as raising my children, I obtained my Real Estate license and ran a very successful business. Now we are living in Ohio and I am looking for my new Read more adventure. Out of all my career opportunities, raising my children is the most beneficial and rewarding career I have had, but the pay ins't that great :) My beliefs are very strong that love, compassion and validation are the utmost important factors when dealing with anyone, especially children. "Hitting" or "Spanking" were NEVER methods I used or will use with my children, but I do believe everyone loves their children and will do what they believe is best. You will find that our home is a very loving, happy peaceful environment. We are located in the center of town, giving us wonderful walkable areas to the kids park, library for Mommy and Me classes, the Science and Nature Center as well as many other baby/child outings. We have a whole room dedicated just for crafts, which I LOVE and still love making with our daughter. The house is equipped with most the necessities you will need; crib, bed, stroller, toys, baby gates and baby proofing. Outside is no different. Trampolines, zip-line, basketball, volleyball, bikes and the list goes on. Hopefully this comes across the way I am meaning it to. But as great as it may sound I do believe that meeting someone in person, even if its a few times, is the best judge of character.
