After graduating, I took a position at Rainbow House Children's Resource Center where I worked as a children's resource advocate assistant for two years ( 2011-2014). As an advocate, I was able to assist children and families who were victims of sexual abuse. Additionally, as a stay at home mother to an 18 year old transgender daughter, and 14 year old pansexual daughter, I have a wealth of life experiences that could provide future insite into a career as a nanny or even a casual date night sitter.
