Hello!! (: My name is Sydney and I am a second-year student at BGSU studying Inclusive Early Childhood Education. In school, I am in the Honors College and I've held a GPA of over 3.8 since starting school. I have over 7 years of experience babysitting and have spent the last three years working with a swim school teaching kiddos from 4 months - 12 years old. In the year 2020-2021, I had the opportunity to take on a management role for a school of 1,500+ enrollments and a staff size of 20+. Within this role, I took on our special needs lessons. This included adapting curriculum and teaching to the individual needs of the student. I have a passion for working with students with disabilities, and more specifically individuals with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am currently pursuing my Registered Behavior Technician certificate through an ABA company Read more in Northern, VA.
