I am currently finishing my freshman year at the University of Kentucky as Nursing major. I will be obtaining my CNA license and renewing my CPR certification around May 20th. When I was younger, I took a babysitting class. Since then, I have babysat on and off for my neighbors for about three years. The children that I most often take care of are currently 2, 5, and 7 years old. During high school, I was a peer tutor and a peer counselor. As a peer counselor I taught fourth graders about peer pressure, how to be a good friend, etc. I really enjoy being around kids and I believe I am a good role model for them. I am responsible, make good life choices, and am very determined in life. This is demonstrated through my 4.0 GPA and my leadership role in a national organization called CHAARG on my Read more campus (Changing Health Attitudes and Actions to Recreate Girls). I love to play games with the kids; I'd much rather be running from the dragon hunters, trying not to get tied up (a personal favorite of the kids I usually babysit) than simply watching TV. Finally, I am more than willing to complete a background check and/or motor vehicle check!
