I've worked both in-home as a babysitter/nanny for infants and toddlers with approximately 3 years of experience and I've also worked in a school setting as an English teacher in Japan for 2 years (I speak English and Japanese.) I am a new mom with a little boy (currently 2 months old.) In an ideal world, I'd love to be able to work and have him with me. On a professional level I have experience working with children from ages 6 months up to 14 years. I enjoy activities that involve reading, education, and creativity and try to encourage them, but I really believe engaging children in their own interests is crucial.
